Our Educational Outreach Initiative brings critical conversations about PTSD service dogs to the public, fostering a deeper understanding of their impact and the responsibility we have to both the veterans they assist and the dogs themselves.
However, many people still don’t fully understand their purpose, their training, or the ethical considerations involved in their care. Our outreach efforts focus on:
✔ Speaking engagements – Expert-led talks at conferences, universities, veteran support groups, and community events.
✔ Informational booths – Resources on PTSD service dogs, training ethics, and mutual aid principles.
✔ Workshops & seminars – Education for first responders, healthcare workers, and civilians seeking to train their own service dogs ethically.
🐾 Take a break in a calm, welcoming space.
🐾 Experience the healing presence of our friendly, well-trained golden retrievers.
🐾 Learn firsthand how service dogs provide emotional grounding and support.
For indoor events, we provide a Comfort Dog Exercise Pen, offering the same experience in a structured, contained space. Whether inside or outside, our goal is to provide a moment of peace while raising awareness about service dogs.
🚒 First responders (firefighters, paramedics, police officers)
🏥 Healthcare workers (doctors, nurses, mental health professionals, veterinarians)
💜 Civilians (survivors of abuse, accidents, or natural disasters)
Despite increasing demand, many people struggle to access ethical, well-trained PTSD service dogs. By educating communities, we can help expand awareness and responsible access.
✅ Reward-based, ethical training – No coercion, only cooperation.
✅ Service dog welfare – Ensuring play, choice, and socialization to prevent burnout.
✅ Human-animal partnership – Dogs co-create solutions with their handlers rather than simply “obeying.”
